Advanced Physical Health is a family practice including husband and wife team, Dr. Sylvie Carpentier and Dr. Matthew White, as well as their daughter, Dr. Monique White. We are a family owned chiropractic clinic dedicated to serving our patients in a responsive and caring environment. All together, our three doctors have over 80 years of experience!

Our practice is a true family clinic! We serve patients of all ages and walks of life. Our doctors have specialized training to care for many patient populations including athletes, pregnant individuals, kids, and seniors. Our goals are to provide a sound diagnosis, educate and empower you about your health, accommodate your needs, and provide you with the highest quality chiropractic care.

Every person is unique, and their health care should be as well. At APH Chiropractic, our technology and techniques are the most advanced in the Chiropractic profession to date. Our office offers many different physiotherapy modalities, acupuncture, as well as both lumbar spinal decompression and cervical traction- which are non surgical, safe, and effective procedures for various spinal disc conditions. We would be happy to schedule you for a complimentary consultation with one of the doctors.

Meet the Doctors

Two Generations of Chiropractic Physicians

  • Matthew White, D.C.

    Dr. White is a Graduate of the University of Windsor, Windsor Ontario with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics in 1981 and also received his Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan College in 1985. He met his wife, Dr. Carpentier, as a student at Logan.  They opened up their practice together in Columbia over 35 years ago!

  • Sylvie Carpentier, D.C.

    Dr. Carpentier is originally from Quebec, Canada where she received her Bachelors in Health Science at the University of Quebec Trois-Rivieres and later received her Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic, St. Louis, Missouri in 1985. She has served the Columbia community for nearly four decades as a chiropractor and founded an organization for our local Children's Hospital as well.

  • Monique White, DC, MS, ICCSP, Perinatal Certified, Webster Certified

    Dr. Monique is a second generation, board certified Chiropractic Physician practicing in Columbia, MO.  She graduated from Logan University, College of Chiropractic as Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude. She is a Perinatal and Webster certified Chiropractor. The daughter of two chiropractors, she provides exceptional care to her patients.
